The Gentleman's Facial is a 60-minute, $150 treatment designed around the things that actually affect men's skin: daily shaving, ingrown hairs, blackheads on the nose and cheeks, and thicker, oilier skin that congests faster. Not a standard facial with a different name on the menu.
Male skin is measurably 20–25% thicker, produces more sebum, and has larger pores — which is why blackheads on the nose are so persistent. Add daily shaving, which is a constant low-level exfoliation and irritation, and you get a specific set of problems:
Two other things worth doing: shave with the grain, not against it, and replace the blade more often than you think. A dull blade drags and is the main cause of razor bumps.
Most men who book are doing this for the first time, often before a wedding, a milestone birthday or because breakouts stopped resolving on their own. There's nothing to prepare — come as you are, we'll handle the rest. The session is quiet and there's no pressure to buy anything.
Every four to six weeks for maintenance. If ingrown hairs or congestion are significant, start every three weeks for the first two months.
For back and shoulder congestion, see the Back Cleaning Facial ($160) on the full menu.

No. Come as you are — the treatment works around the beard line. If anything, avoid shaving immediately before, since freshly shaved skin is more sensitive to extractions and products.
Yes. Extractions release trapped hairs and exfoliation prevents new ones from forming. Combined with a change in shaving technique — shaving after the shower and with the grain — most men see a clear improvement.
Every four to six weeks. If congestion or ingrown hairs are significant, start every three weeks for the first two months, then move to monthly.
That is the case for most men who book this treatment. Nothing is required in advance, the session is quiet, and there is no pressure to buy products at the end.
