The European Facial is the treatment most first-time clients in NYC should start with: a 60-minute deep cleanse with careful, unhurried extractions for $150. It's our house facial and the most booked service at our Midtown Manhattan studio — because it works on nearly every skin type and it tells us how your skin behaves.
Every appointment opens with an actual skin analysis. Then:
The European Facial suits congested pores, dullness, uneven texture and general maintenance. It's the right choice if you've never had a professional facial, if it's been more than six months, or if you simply want your skin kept in good condition month to month.
If you have active, inflamed breakouts, the Clear Acne Facial is the better fit. If your main concern is rough texture or dark spots, look at microdermabrasion or a chemical peel.
The most common question we get. The short version:
| European Facial | Hydradermabrasion | |
|---|---|---|
| Method | Manual — hands, steam, technique | Device — vacuum + serum infusion |
| Extractions | Manual, thorough | Suction-assisted, gentler |
| Time | 60 min | 45 min |
| Best for | Deep congestion, maintenance | Glow before an event, sensitive skin |
| Price | $150 | $190 |
Every four to six weeks. After a single session most people see clearer pores and a brighter tone right away. The structural changes — fewer breakouts, more even texture — show up around the third or fourth consistent visit.
Buy 2 European Facials and the third one is free. Ask about the package at your visit.
252 West 38th Street, Suite 404, between 7th and 8th Avenue — walking distance from Penn Station, Times Square and Bryant Park. One client at a time, no rushed rooms.
$150 for 60 minutes at NY Healthy Skin Care in Midtown Manhattan. The price includes the skin analysis, extractions, massage, mask and a home-care recommendation — there are no add-ons at checkout.
A European Facial is the classic full protocol: double cleanse, exfoliation, steam, thorough manual extractions, massage and a targeted mask. Many “regular” facials skip the extractions or the massage. It is the most complete hands-on treatment on the menu.
Extractions can feel like brief pressure or pinching, especially around the nose. Steam is used first to soften the pores, which makes the process far more comfortable. Tell your esthetician at any point and the pressure is adjusted.
Usually 30 to 60 minutes. If extractions were extensive it can last a few hours. That is why we recommend booking two to three weeks before a wedding or an event rather than the day before.
Every four to six weeks. That matches the skin’s renewal cycle and keeps results from fading between visits.
